For the first time since the onset of COVID-19, the IRS is holding its in-person forums for CPAs and other tax professionals.

The IRS said in a news release on Thursday that registration is open for this summer’s 2023 IRS Nationwide Tax Forums in five cities. Each forum lasts for three days and includes seminars and workshops led by IRS experts and others from the tax community.

The forums, which the Service has held for over 30 years, were last held in person in 2019. The cities and dates for the 2023 forums are: New Orleans, July 11–13; Atlanta, July 25–27; National Harbor, Md., Aug. 8–10; San Diego, Aug. 22–24; and Orlando, Fla., Aug. 29–31.
